Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how BubblePop Math (the "App"), developed by Synarach ("we", "us"), collects, uses, and protects information. The App is an educational game for children ages 4 to 12, used under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or teacher.

1. Who this policy applies to

BubblePop Math is designed for use by children, always with a responsible adult (parent, guardian, or teacher) involved in initial setup, the parental control area, and, where applicable, School Mode. No part of gameplay requires a child to provide personal information directly.

2. Information we collect

• Usage and performance data (Firebase Analytics): anonymous events such as session start, levels completed, correct/incorrect answers, combo milestones, and rewarded-ad interactions. These events do not identify the child individually.
• Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): technical device and app information captured at the moment of a crash, used solely to fix issues.
• Data stored only on the device: active difficulty tier, level progress, stars earned, score, parental control settings (daily time limit, ads toggle), and the parental PIN. This data never leaves the device, except when synced through School Mode.
• Guardian's e-mail (PIN recovery): if an adult registers an e-mail for parental PIN recovery, we use Firebase Authentication to send a password-reset e-mail to that address. The e-mail is used solely for that purpose.
• School Mode (paid version): when a teacher or guardian creates a class account (Firebase Authentication + Cloud Firestore), we store the account e-mail, the student profiles manually entered by the adult, and each child's progress on activities, to enable cross-device sync and PDF report generation. This account can only be created by an adult.
• Purchases (paid version / ad removal): processed directly by Google Play or the App Store; we do not have access to payment data (credit card, etc.).

3. Advertising (AdMob)

In the free version, we show Google AdMob ads only on the session-end screen (never during active gameplay), as rewarded ads to earn an extra life and, occasionally, interstitial ads between levels. Because the App's audience includes children, ad requests are configured for a child-directed audience (tagForChildDirectedTreatment, tagForUnderAgeOfConsent, and a maximum content rating of "G"), which restricts ads to age-appropriate content and disables personalized/tracking-based advertising. Parental controls allow rewarded ads to be fully disabled. The paid version shows no ads at all.

4. Sharing data with third parties

We do not sell personal data. We use the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Authentication, Cloud Firestore)
• Google AdMob (ad serving, configured for a child-directed audience)
• Google Play Billing / Apple In-App Purchase (purchase processing)

5. Children's privacy (COPPA and LGPD)

We take children's privacy seriously. The App does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, and any information associated with a child (a School Mode profile, a PIN-recovery e-mail) is provided and controlled by a responsible adult. We follow the principles of the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), including with respect to child-directed advertising (Section 3 above), and Brazil's Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD).

6. Your rights

Parents, guardians, or teachers may at any time: access data stored in School Mode, request correction or deletion of a child's profile data, withdraw consent, and request account deletion. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the e-mail below.

7. Data retention

Data stored only on the device remains until the app is uninstalled or the data is manually cleared. School Mode data is kept while the account is active and is deleted upon request.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information handled by the App. No system is 100% secure, but we work continuously to reduce risk.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The last-updated date is always shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated within the App, where applicable.
